More on the Sales Tax Increase

The governor of Calif is proposing an increase of 1% of additional sales tax in his budget compromise. What is not being spoken about is that it appears that the issue of "Sales Tax on Services" is back on the table. This 1% will not be the end. If what I project happens we will all be paying considerable more for what we buy and what services we use.

Sales tax will be imposed on services like:

Tax preparation
Legal Fees
Medical bills
Doctors appointments
Window cleaning
Home cleaning
Dental expense
Marriage counseling
Divorce proceedings
Marriage license service
Wedding planning
Getting a haircut
Face lift
Getting your nails done
Your gym membership
Drycleaning
Getting your car washed
Boarding your pets
And any other service that you use
